Last Chance? Get 70k miles with the Aviator

Tl;dr: There’s still time to get 70k AA miles for just $99 with the AA Aviator.

Barclays’ relationship with American Airlines may be coming to an end, as the airline transitions to an exclusive relationship with Citi, but Barclays is still out there hawking outstanding offers on its AA co-branded cards. Thrifty Traveler points out that the Aviator is offering 70k miles after just a single purchase (no minimum spend) and paying the $99 fee. That’s enough miles for a round-trip to much of Asia, Europe, and South America from most major US airports.

This is the easiest way to snag a cheap international trip with a credit card and points, and it won’t be around for long. If you’re interested, now might be the time to pounce. For a more detailed review of the card (which I’ve kept in my wallet for a few years now), check out my previous write-up here.
