Earn 10k Skymiles by Switching to T-Mobile

I was recently flying Delta once again, and noticed something while logging into the free in-flight wifi (I really like this aspect of flying Delta, btw): an offer to earn 10,000 Skymiles by switching my phone service to T-Mobile. But it turns out that this offer isn’t just limited to recent fliers: any Skymiles member can log into their account and check their availability using this link.

Those Skymiles (if you get the 10k offer) are worth well over $100, so that’s a pretty solid incentive for those who were in the market to switch to T-Mobile anyway… which happens to be my exact situation. After years of Verizon failing to give me coverage in most places I’ve lived or traveled, I’m ready to give another carrier a whirl, and T-Mobile offers free international data and free in-flight wifi on several airlines.

I wouldn’t switch carriers just for some miles, and I wouldn’t let miles swing an expensive decision like choosing a phone carrier, but it’s a great offer you won’t want to miss out on if you are in the market to switch to T-Mobile anyway.
